Argent and Lido
Argent now supports ETH 2.0 staking through Lido Finance.
Now users can easily stake their ETH (currently ~12% APR), with no extra fees.
Users deposit ETH to receive stETH, a representation of staked ETH on the beacon chain.
Normally to run a validator users need 32 ETH, as well as the required hardware and up-time commitment. With Lido anyone can participate with any amount of ETH, and no hardware requirements. A 10% fee is charged on gains.

Argent Wallet
Argent is a non-custodial mobile wallet that lets users easily buy ETH with fiat, invest in DeFi, and use decentralised apps at the tap of a button.
You can easily provide liquidity on Uniswap, invest in one of Yearn’s vaults, or lend assets via Aave.
Integration with Lido allows users to help secure the Ethereum blockchain and earn rewards easily.
Lido
Lido facilitates a network of ETH 2.0 stakers and investors. The stETH token allows anyone to reap the benefits of Ethereum staking, the consensus model replacing costly proof-of-work mining.
Lido recently transitioned to a DAO, airdropping LDO tokens to early users who can start to govern the system. Read the full post on Lido DAO here.
Conclusion
Argent are adding new features and integrations at lightning pace. The mobile app is the perfect solution for new users, simplifying the on-boarding process and removing a lot of the barrier to entry. Being able to show friends and family how to become a liquidity provider in just a few minutes is a joy, and I can’t wait to see what’s next from the team.
