Meet Enzyme Finance
Melon has began a re-brand to Enzyme Finance ahead of their V2 launch.
No token migration will occur and the MLN ticker will not be changed.

Melon V2
Melon is a decentralised protocol for fund management. Opening the door for anybody to participate, the protocol aims to democratise asset management. Anybody can get involved and manage their wealth or the wealth of others within a safe environment.
The rebrand comes ahead of the protocols V2 upgrade, expected to go live Q1 2021.
The update will bring many more asset types, simplify the fund creation process from 9 steps to 1, and greatly lower gas costs.
V2 will also integrate new DEXes and adapters including Uniswap V2.
Here’s a sneak preview:

The Rebrand
The move was driven by a clash with tradfi BNY Mellon, and the guys decided to seize the opportunity for a fresh start that better represented their protocol.
They worked with POW Media, exploring a new brand identity with a focus on innovation, empowerment, and futurism. They also wanted the new name to be playful and easy to remember.
I think they absolutely nailed it, with Enzymes accelerating chemical reactions as catalysts in the way that the protocol accelerates and empowers participation in funds.
The new logo also works, bringing a fresh “retro-futuristic” colour blend in sharp contrast to the tired blues and greens of tradfi brands.
Conclusion
We’ve been thinking a lot about branding over at PieDAO as we prepare to launch a brand new product type unlocking many new features. I’m a big believer in simplicity, but to also convey the technical depth a new concept introduces is no easy task.
Enzyme have nailed their re-brand in my opinion and I’m looking forward to seeing their V2 go live.
